The church today is facing complex cultural, spiritual, and institutional challenges. Now more than ever there is a need for deeply formed leaders who reflect the character, wisdom, and vision of Christ.

The Doctor of Ministry in Spiritual Formation and Discipleship is designed to equip experienced pastors with the theological depth, spiritual maturity, and practical skills necessary to lead transformative discipleship movements in today’s church and world. Grounded in an evangelical, sacramental, and charismatic perspective, this advanced and ministerial training program brings together rigorous study and relational formation to support faithful, enduring ministry.

Core Curriculum

Year One: The Formed Leader (Foundations of Discipleship)

  • Core topics: spiritual practices, personal formation, theological vision

Year Two: The Forming Church (Relational Discipleship)

  • Core topics: congregational discipleship, formation systems, pastoral rhythms

Year Two: Formation in Mission (Evangelical Discipleship)

  • Core topics: cultural engagement, missional discipleship, public theology


Tuition:

Cost for the 2026 cohort is $15,210 total for all three years.

Program Details:

Doctoral students can expect a rhythm that brings together advanced study, spiritual formation, and ministry leadership through in-person intensives and ongoing writing.

Online academic seminars on Thursday and Friday mornings
