    Randall, Iowa — Elim Lutheran Church, a congregation of Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC), is prayerfully seeking a settled pastor to join us in the next chapter of our 150-year story of faith, fellowship, and service.

    Rooted in Scripture and Lutheran theology, Elim is a vibrant and welcoming congregation known for its warmth, hospitality, and long tradition of pastoral stability. After a season of healing and renewal, the church is entering an exciting time of growth and unity, with increasing worship attendance and expanding ministries for children, youth, and adults.

    “We believe our next pastor will be both a shepherd and a visionary,” said the Call Committee. “Someone who teaches God’s Word faithfully, leads with humility and courage, and partners with us to strengthen discipleship, nurture community, and extend the love of Christ to those around us.”

    Elim offers one weekly worship service in a modified traditional format, accompanied by organ, piano, and choir music. The congregation is active in missions and community partnerships, including Riverside Bible Camp. Average weekly attendance is approximately 130. The church is financially strong and provides a recently renovated parsonage.

    Located in the small-town community of Randall—just minutes from Ames and Interstate 35—Elim serves families from multiple towns and school districts who are drawn to its sense of belonging and purpose.

    The Settled Pastor will at minimum:

    • Subscribes to LCMC’s Statement of Faith and Pastoral Admonition, including the characteristic practices of the sacraments in the Lutheran tradition.

    • Bachelor’s degree and/or Master of Divinity (or equivalent) preferred.

    • Demonstrated experience in preaching, teaching, and pastoral leadership.

    • Ordained or eligible for ordination in Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC)
