Eric McIntyre

Passionate about healthy leadership development, worship ministry, history, and investing in students’ formation.

Eric McIntyre serves as Dean of Spiritual Formation and Contextual Leadership at The Master's Institute. He graduated from Concordia College (Moorhead MN) with Music and Religion degrees and from MI with an MDiv. Eric spent a combined 35 years as Director of Worship at Hope Lutheran Church (Fargo ND) and Redeemer Lutheran Church (Fridley MN) where, in both settings, he steered the traditional and modern worship experiences. With the contemporary church in constant worship renewal, Eric continually finds himself a student of that renewal. In earlier years, he conducted workshops on introducing style changes to traditional-oriented congregations. Recently, he has focused on mentoring younger worship leaders. Eric and his wife, Kris, have two sons, a daughter, and a daughter-in-law - all young adults.
