Position: Administrative Assistant
Reports to: Seminary Coordinator
Location: White Bear Lake, MN
Hours per week: 10-15
Pay rate: $18-20/hr
Requirements: Must be in the office at least one day per week
The role:
The Administrative Assistant is an organized and mission-minded individual who plays a key part in ensuring smooth operation of our seminary programs. This role will work closely with the Seminary Coordinator to support academic rhythms and organize logistical and operational details that help cultivate formational student experiences. They will also work closely with the Business Administrator to process contributions and other sources of income. Success in this role looks like streamlined administrative processes, accurate and accessible academic records, and well-supported students and staff.
The team:
The Master’s Institute Seminary is called to equip the heart, head, and hands of pastors and leaders for the Church to continue the ministry of Jesus empowered by the Holy Spirit. We do this through biblical teaching, spiritual formation, and leadership training.

Responsibilities:
Maintain student records in Populi
Oversee Google Classroom set-up and archive
Support Dean of Spiritual Formation and Contextual Leadership in tracking Ministry Formation credits
Support the LCMC continuing education program logistics (e.g., registration, course set-up, and faculty payments)
Process income from contributions, tuition, and other sources in collaboration with the Business Administrator
Assist with seminary events like Fall Retreat, Graduation, Alumni Days, and Golf Tournament
Be present at in-person classes and gatherings to create a hospitable environment for students and instructor(s)
Attend monthly staff meetings
Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
A heart for servant leadership and collaboration
Strong organizational and time management skills, with a high attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to quickly learn and become proficient in technologies like Google Classroom and Populi
