MI has been blessed to be housed in Community of Grace Church since the summer of 2014. It has been a wonderful relationship of mutual support. 

Recently, Community of Grace and its ministry partners, including The Master’s Institute, have begun a discernment process concerning the use of Community of Grace’s facilities. We are excited to be joining in this conversation. 

Below is a communication sent by Pastor Darrin Vick of Community of Grace concerning the process we are undertaking. Please join us in prayer for the wisdom of the Spirit in this process.

Dear Friends in Christ,

We are beginning a vision quest!

CGLC and its ministry partners – Magnuson Christian School, Lakes Area Discovery Center Preschool, and the Master’s Institute Seminary – are entering a season of listening and discernment in order to answer this question: What does God want to do with our 15 acre campus in order to bless our community in Jesus name?

We have all benefited from the prayers and sacrifices of past saints who followed Jesus in moving to this campus over 60 years ago. Since then, we have continued to listen to the Holy Spirit as he has inspired numerous expansions of our facilities and additions to our community ministries. We believe it is time to discern what is next so that future generations can experience the abundant life of Jesus.

We expect this initial assessment to be completed by the end of the year with a full report coming in early 2024.  I want to emphasize that this assessment is not the start of a building campaign. That may come in the future but for now we are seeking God’s wisdom and trusting he will reveal his plan to us. 

As Solomon says in Proverbs 16:3, “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”
